Why Neegma exists

Every event has a moment where the energy drops. Neegma fixes that.

Drinks receptions where everyone is talking to the person they already know. Conference breaks where people check their phones instead of networking. Brand activations where guests walk past the display stand rather than stopping. Weddings where the room fragments into small groups before the speeches.

These are the moments every event organiser knows. Neegma is built for exactly these moments.

A QR code goes on screen. Guests scan it in seconds. Within three minutes, 80 people are competing on a live scoreboard, cheering for their team, and talking to the stranger next to them because they just got beaten to the answer. That conversation carries through the rest of the event.

How it works

Before, during, after, all from a laptop.

  1. 1

    Before the event

Build a custom question set in the Playground. If it is a brand event, build trivia around your product. If it is a wedding, build it around the couple. Save it to your library. Preview before the day.

  2. 2

    On the day

Plug your laptop into the venue screen. The QR code is large, bold, scannable from across the room. Guests pick a team name and they are playing. No tech crew required.

  3. 3

    During the game

The scoreboard updates live on the big screen. You control the pace, skip questions if needed, and end the game at the moment you want to close the experience.

  4. 4

    After the event

The final scoreboard shows on the big screen. Announce the winning team. Download session analytics for event reporting and social proof.

Real event scenarios

Four kinds of event. The same platform.

Scenario 01

Wedding reception

Weddings & Celebrations

Before the speeches, the room is already warm.

At the drinks reception, before dinner begins, the wedding planner puts a custom Neegma QR code on a display board near the bar. Guests scan it. The game is built entirely around the couple. Questions like “In what city did they have their first holiday?”, “What is Alex's biggest fear?”, “How many years did they know each other before their first date?” Guests who have known the couple for twenty years find themselves neck and neck with someone they just met from the other side of the family. Tables are debating answers. Strangers are laughing together. The game runs for 25 minutes. The room walks into dinner already warm.

Scenario 02

Brand activation

Brand Activations

Your product on the big screen, your audience competing for it.

A consumer brand is launching a new product at a customer event. 150 people are in the venue. The brand wants engagement, not just eyeballs. The event manager builds a custom Neegma question set around the product's story, the brand's history, and the lifestyle the product represents. They split the room into five colour-coded teams named after the product's key features. When the game starts, the big screen shows the brand's colour palette, the team names, and the live scoreboard. Everyone is now playing on behalf of a team. The product is on screen, the brand colours are on screen, and 150 people are actively competing and talking about the brand.

Scenario 03

Conference break

Conferences & Networking

2pm slump, fixed in 15 minutes.

It is 2pm on day one of a two-day industry conference. Energy is low after lunch. The session host opens Neegma and runs a 15-minute custom trivia set built around the conference theme and the morning's speakers. Delegates who were quietly checking email are now competing on the leaderboard. The team that wins gets called out by name on the main screen. That acknowledgement sparks a conversation in the break that leads to three business cards being exchanged.

Scenario 04

Community meetup

Community Gatherings

Strangers walk in. A community walks out.

A community organiser is hosting a monthly in-person meetup for 60 people, mostly strangers attending for the first time. Before the main agenda, she runs Neegma in Team Mode: six teams of ten people, custom questions built around the community's shared interest. Participants who arrived not knowing anyone are suddenly huddled with nine strangers, debating an answer. By the time the game ends, the room is already a community.

Two formats

Online Player Mode and Team Mode.

Choose what fits your event. Individual leaderboard for maximum participation, or team competition for louder energy.

Online Player Mode

Individual competition.

Every guest scans the QR code and competes as an individual. The scoreboard shows the top players in real time. Great for large events where you want maximum participation and a clear individual winner.

Best for: conferences, brand activations, audience-wide games where everyone competes solo.

Team Mode

Group competition.

Guests are split into colour-coded teams. Each team shares one device for submitting answers, which means people huddle, debate, and play together rather than alone on their phones. Generates louder moments and more shared energy across the room.

Best for: weddings, table-by-table competitions, community gatherings, any event with seating groups.
